Students should consult the catalogs of universities that they may wish to apply for graduate studies to determine the specific requirements needed for admission. Graduates from the Engineering Science program can also consider taking the exam to become registered patent 年龄nts. Graduates from all three programs can take the necessary exams offered by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS), or by similar licensing boards in other states to register as Engineers-In-Training and eventually become licensed Professional Engineers.
